recipient of this year’s Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) Artist Fellowship at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, currently
in Miami. Together, they’ll explore fresh perspectives and experimental techniques in reimagining Caribbean identities and
narratives. Through literature, visual arts, and multimedia, Roch and Francietta push the boundaries of cultural representation, offering
new lenses on Caribbean heritage, history, and futurity. Don’t miss this unique event that delves into the power of creative expression to

Elizabeth Guérin is a versatile Haitian media professional with a rich career in television, radio, and the arts. Starting as a child performer, she quickly became a household name in Haiti, hosting popular radio shows and starring in the beloved soap opera Woy Les Voilà. Known as “The Haitian Oprah,” she brought innovation to Haitian television with À Découvert, the first live-audience talk show. After moving to Miami, Elizabeth continued her media work, launching HTN, a 24-hour Haitian TV channel, and founding Imaginart Media Productions. Her contributions to media and culture have earned her widespread recognition, including the “Women in Media” award.
